Engagement Terms

Draft template — not legal advice. This document is a plain-language starting point. It must be reviewed and completed (including the bracketed […] details) by the founder and, ideally, a qualified professional before it is relied upon.

These plain-language terms describe how a typical engagement with Hayer Technologies works. Your signed proposal or contract is the binding agreement; this page is a readable summary. Last updated: [date to be set].

Scope

Every engagement starts with your written scope: what you get, by when, and for how much. Changes to your scope are agreed in writing before action is taken — ensuring you see no surprise invoices.

The guarantee

Love the homepage concept or pay nothing.Your homepage concept is designed first. If it isn't right for you, you can walk away owing nothing, as set out in your proposal.

Payments

Your fixed-scope projects are billed in milestones — typically 30% to start, 40% at build, and 30% at your launch. Invoices are in INR by default, via Stripe, PayPal or Wise for you.

Ownership & IP transfer

On your final payment, you own 100% of the work: your code, your design files, and your accounts. Everything is transferred to you with zero lock-in. Your work may be shown in the portfolio unless you request otherwise.

Confidentiality

Your information is kept confidential and signing your NDA is standard before your work begins.

Ongoing care

Your Care plans are optional and billed separately. You're never locked into one to keep what you received.
